Control: Resonant Announced at TGA 2025
A change of protagonist and gameplay
Remedy takes the stage at TGA 2025 to announce and showcase their next work in action: the title is Control: Resonant, and it appears to be both a sequel and a spin-off of the first Control.
The game features a change of protagonist: Jesse is unavailable ["she went... fishing"?], so it will be up to her brother Dylan, having awakened [perhaps] from his slumber, to counter a rampant wave of Hiss that has broken all containment and is bending the very fabric of reality.

The game reveals its spin-off nature not only in the change of protagonist but also in a decidedly different gameplay approach: Dylan is not a gunslinger like Jesse but prefers melee combat, giving the work a certain Devil May Cry aura that immediately captivated the audience.
Control: Resonant is expected to be released by the end of 2026 on PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
