Capcom Updates Platinum Titles, Resident Evil 4 Remake Reaches 12 Million
Few new updates before Requiem's release
Capcom has updated its list of Platinum Titles, which are games that have sold over one million copies. There are few new updates since the last quarterly report, with only the remake of Resident Evil 4 selling over a million in this period, bringing its total to 12.2 million. Other recent Resident Evil titles and Monster Hunter: Sunbreak also performed well, with over 500,000 units sold.
It will be interesting to see how Resident Evil Requiem performs, set to release on February 27th for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, given the franchise's popularity and the average quality of its individual chapters, it's not hard to imagine another success for the Japanese company.
