Borderlands 4, Switch 2 Version Development Halted
Development is "on pause," not canceled

Gearbox Software and 2K have announced that they have halted work on the Switch 2 version of their Borderlands 4. The title had been postponed at the last minute shortly after the release of other editions, and today the decision to cut ties, at least for now. The developers will focus on creating post-launch content and optimizing the game on other platforms.
This does not mean that Borderlands 4 has been definitively canceled on the Nintendo hybrid console; it is just "on pause." How long will we have to wait, if it ever happens? It's hard to say. In the meantime, you can find the title on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You can read our review here.
