Borderlands 4: Details of the First Bounty Pack
Even mercenaries have their holidays to preserve

At Pax Australia, a festival celebrating video games held near Sydney, Gearbox Software shared some information about the future content of Borderlands 4, the new installment in the famous looter shooter series that was released last month. In particular, there are new details on the first Bounty Pack, which is additional story content available for purchase.
How Rush Saved Mercenary Day
Borderlands 4's first Bounty Pack will be called How Rush Saved Mercenary Day and will tell the story of Rush, the leader of the Outbounders, who feels nostalgic for holidays of old and wants to restore Mercenary Day, a kind of Christmas for the people of Kairos. The festivities have been banned by decision of Screw, Minister of Culture, who imposed the abolition of celebrations.
With a series of new missions, players will have to make Screw understand, by fair means or foul (probably the latter), that the people of Kairos want to celebrate again. The Bounty Pack will also be an opportunity to obtain rich loot: it contains a Vault Card, with 24 cosmetic items and 4 pieces of equipment. In addition, the Pack includes a Digirunner vehicle, a Vault Hunter skin, and an Echo-4 Drone skin.

When the first Bounty Pack will be released
How Rush Saved Mercenary Day will be available starting November 20, 2025. This is the first of four Bounty Packs that will be included in the paid DLC Bounty Pack Bundle. This DLC is available in the Deluxe editions of Borderlands 4, or it can be purchased separately. For more information, consult the official website.
