BeastLink: Kaiju Game Announcement Trailer

Giant monsters will be available in just two days, with the first playtest

Kaiju, the colossal monsters of Japanese science fiction, are the absolute protagonists of BeastLink, a new action game announced by US software house Grove Street Games. The world of BeastLink is dominated by these titanic figures: humanity has abandoned the great metropolises, which have remained the exclusive domain of the creatures... and those who intend to hunt them.

BeastLink Gameplay

BeastLink is designed as a multiplayer experience: maps can host up to 32 humans simultaneously, plus several monsters. Players can control either people, fighting on foot or aboard vehicles, or Kaiju. A prominent feature of the game will be the extremely high rate of environmental destructibility: everything you see can be shattered. The very spartan graphics can be partly justified by the significant hardware resources needed to ensure such destructibility (but only partly...).

BeastLink Content

At launch, in early access, BeastLink will offer 3 maps inspired by real-world cities, 4 Kaiju, and 2 multiplayer modes (Convergence and Battle Arena), plus dozens of weapons and vehicles to use. The full version of the game will include much more content: maps will increase to 12, Kaiju will be 8, and additional modes will be added, including a 10-mission campaign.

When and Where BeastLink Releases

BeastLink will be released on PC (Steam) in early access: the launch window is set for summer 2026, while patch 1.0 is expected around summer 2027. The game will also reach Playstation and Xbox consoles. If this experience intrigues you and you'd like to try it, you can do so very soon: in two days, on May 8th, the first playtest of the game will begin on Steam. Side note: BeastLink's Kaiju are not those from Toho (Godzilla & Co.), but original creations.
