Battlefield 6 Sold Over 7 Million Copies in 5 Days

Electronic Arts' war franchise needed a good shake-up, four years after making a misstep with Battlefield 2042, but it seems to have arrived. To be well-prepared for the occasion, a large development group was formed, Battlefield Studios, which managed to create an experience that finds its strengths in realism and immersion: Battlefield 6.

Gamers usually reward quality works, and it happened again this time: Games Industry reports that, in the first five days after its release, Battlefield 6 surpassed 7 million copies sold, roughly divided into 3.8 million on Steam, 1.8 million on PlayStation 5, and 1.4 million on Xbox Series X|S. That it was doing extremely well on Steam was already evident from SteamDB's data, which indicates almost 750,000 concurrent players on day one.
