Ball x Pit Updates Today with Regal Update
The game's first major free update is now available
Among the most compelling indie titles of 2025, Ball X Pit certainly stands out, a curious roguelite that adopts typical Arkanoid mechanics to unleash a bullet hell on screen. Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun announce the release of Regal Update, the first major free update for Ball x Pit, which was anticipated last week and is available starting today, January 26.
Regal Update Contents
Regal Update introduces two new characters to the game: The Carouser, around whom projectiles orbit, and The Falconer, accompanied by two trusty falcons that… spit projectiles from their beaks. Regal Update offers no less than eight new ball types, with effects that are quite something: fireworks, catapult, laser, etc., in addition to further passives. But the main novelty is the Endless Mode, which allows players to continue indefinitely after defeating the final boss (with all power-ups maxed out…).
