Between Shang-Chi and Ms. Marvel, the villain's powers will be even more devastating
The first complete image of Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., has leaked online. The actor, who bid farewell to Tony Stark after Avengers: Endgame, now returns in the role of a completely different character, darker and powerfully charismatic. The appearance of the new Victor Von Doom has surprised audiences: the iconic armor is enveloped in magical seals and an aura that blends technology and sorcery.
A More Powerful and Dangerous Villain
According to initial details, Doom has integrated the Ten Rings from Shang-Chi and Ms. Marvel's bracelets into his armor, artifacts linked to the power of the Multiverse and, in the past, associated with Kang. This choice could explain the new narrative balance after Jonathan Majors' departure.
The character would not be, as many feared, an Iron Man variant, but an entirely autonomous entity with its own past and motivations. And if the rumors are correct, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday should arrive as early as December, premiering in screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
With the Russo brothers returning to direct, anticipation for the debut of Marvel's new great villain has never been higher.
