Audeze Maxwell 2 – New Planar Wireless Gaming Headphones
The 90mm planar magnetic technology has been further optimized for greater definition and dynamics.

Audeze has unveiled Maxwell 2, a direct evolution of its renowned wireless gaming headphones launched in 2022. This is, in essence, a targeted refinement: the goal is to perfect sound quality, comfort, and software functions, while retaining what made the first model a benchmark in the industry.
The core of the project remains the 90mm planar magnetic technology, now further optimized to offer a more precise rendition in the soundstage, greater definition, and more controlled dynamics. The real novelty, however, is the introduction of SLAM technology, designed to strengthen bass impact without compromising clarity and naturalness of mid-range frequencies.
Top-tier gaming headphones for PlayStation and Xbox
Audeze has also worked on ergonomics: a new ventilated top strap, redesigned earcups, and improved weight distribution make Maxwell 2 more suitable for prolonged gaming sessions. The microphones have also been improved, now supported by a more effective AI noise reduction system.
In terms of connectivity, we find ultra-low latency wireless audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, LDAC, and Auracast, as well as a completely redesigned new Audeze app. Finally, the ReSkin system debuts, allowing aesthetic customization of the headphones via interchangeable magnetic panels.
Battery life exceeds 80 hours, with optimized fast charging. Maxwell 2 is available in PlayStation and Xbox versions at a price of 329 dollars, with support for Tempest 3D and Dolby ATMOS respectively.
