Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC - The New Gaming Headset Debuts
The headset integrates 90mm planar drivers designed to deliver high precision

Audeze expands its range of headphones dedicated to gamers with Maxwell 2 ANC, an evolution of the Maxwell series that introduces for the first time an active noise cancellation system. The new solution combines this technology with planar magnetic drivers, a long-standing hallmark of the brand.
The new headset integrates 90mm drivers, designed to offer high precision in sound reproduction, controlled bass, and support for high-resolution audio content up to 24-bit/96 kHz. According to Audeze, the ANC system is capable of attenuating up to 35 dB of ambient noise without altering the sound output, thanks to an architecture with dedicated amplifiers for each channel.
ANC, Planar Drivers, and Multi-Platform Connectivity
Among the new features is head tracking with automatic calibration, compatible at launch with Embody Immerse Gaming Hive and Dolby Atmos Renderer, while the microphones integrate FILTER AI Noise Removal technology to improve voice quality during chats and streaming. For comfort, the Maxwell 2 ANC adopts a new ventilated headband, memory foam earcups, and customizable magnetic side panels via ReSkin covers.
Connectivity includes 2.4 GHz wireless with a USB-C dongle, Bluetooth LE Audio with LDAC, AAC, and Auracast support, USB-C, and a 3.5mm jack. The new headset is compatible with PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, and Android devices. The versions dedicated to PlayStation and Xbox are already available at a recommended price of 390€.
