Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: The Announcement and Date

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag originally launched in 2013, during the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console generation. Set in the 18th century, this chapter of the popular stealth saga transported players to the Caribbean islands, casting them as Captain Edward Kenway to experience the golden age of piracy. Today, Ubisoft has unveiled the game's remake, titled Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Details on Black Flag Resynced

Matt Ryan, the actor who lends his likeness to protagonist Kenway, introduces us to Ubisoft's new work. Resynced will be a faithful remake of the original, built from the ground up using the latest version of the Anvil engine. The story will remain the same, but with much higher levels of realism and immersion. Where and When Black Flag Resynced Releases

To relive Edward Kenway's pirate adventure, you'll have to wait less than three months: the release date for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is set for July 9, 2026. The title will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Ubisoft Connect, Steam). Furthermore, it will be offered from day one on the subscription service Ubisoft+ Premium. 

Black Flag Resynced Editions and Prices

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is sold in two editions:

Standard Edition - price: €59.99

Deluxe Edition - price: €69.99

• The base game
• Master Assassin Naval Pack
• Master Assassin Character Pack

These editions will be joined by a Collector's Edition, the details of which have not yet been announced by Ubisoft. Pre-orders are open: all those who pre-purchase the game will receive the Blackbeard Scarlet Pack as a bonus.
