Armatus: Roguelite TPS Announcement Trailer

Publisher Fictions has announced Armatus, a third-person shooter with a roguelite structure, set amidst the ruins of what remains of the city of Paris as the end of the world approaches. In this desolate scenario, the hopes of the few survivors rest on the warrior of an ancient order, whose task is to find a portal that can lead them to paradise, before all is lost.

Armatus Gameplay

This warrior will, of course, be the character controlled by the player. Equipped with a scythe and another weapon chosen from a vast selection, they will have to fight the demons lurking among the ruins. As is traditional for roguelikes, Armatus features a series of runs: when you die, you restart, but in the process, you can acquire new weapons or new abilities that will make your character more powerful.

When and Where Armatus Releases

Developed by Californian studio Counterplay Games, Armatus will be released in 2026. You will find this title on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Windows, Steam), as well as day one on the Game Pass service.
