Arknights: Endfield Released Today, But Has PayPal Issues
A new sci-fi gacha takes off from China

Publisher Gryphline and developer Hypergryph announce the release of Arknights: Endfield. This video game is available worldwide starting today, January 22, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS devices. Arknights: Endfield is a free-to-play gacha from China: a genre that has become quite saturated in recent years, riding the wave of Genshin Impact's success.
Arknights: Endfield Features
From a gameplay perspective, we are looking at a 3D action/RPG, with a semi-open world and base-building mechanics. The story of Arknights: Endfield takes place on a remote planet, Talos II, where humanity has painstakingly built an outpost after 150 years of effort. Players will be called upon to explore this new world and expand the settlement; it goes without saying that they will have to contend with alien entities that are anything but friendly.
Arknights: Endfield Has PayPal Issues
The launch of Arknights: Endfield, which happened today, was anything but smooth. Users who made in-game purchases via PayPal were charged unexpected amounts: it even seems that some users' expenses ended up being charged to others! Gryphline had to scramble, temporarily deactivating this payment method, pending a solution.
