Acer Predator Atlas 7: Portable Gaming Gets More Compact

The new Acer Predator Atlas 7 attempts to reduce its size without sacrificing the features of a true gaming machine. The Taiwanese company's new handheld features a 7-inch screen and houses Intel Arc family processors and GPUs, with a configuration that goes up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x memory and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The Full HD IPS-level display reaches 120 Hz, with VRR and 500 nits brightness. A dual-fan system, complemented by Vortex Flow technology, handles temperatures. The battery can reach 80 Wh, while the weight remains under 750 grams in the largest configuration.
Plenty of power, but there's also a decidedly unusual idea
Among the most interesting details are the optional TMR joysticks, Hall Effect triggers, and 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports. Windows 11 Home completes a platform also designed for Game Pass access. Acer also showcased Project DualPlay Mini, an 8-inch concept that transforms thanks to a flip-and-swivel mechanism. A backlit physical keyboard allows it to transform from a handheld into a sort of mini-notebook.
The Predator Atlas 7 will also arrive in Europe from November 2026. No commercialization has been planned for Project DualPlay Mini at the moment.
