Wonderful Neoran Valley is Voiced by Troy Baker and Ben Starr

In February 2026, the nascent Italian team Nara Studio launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund its first project, called Wonderful Neoran Valley. Remarkably, the initial goal of $111,234 was reached in just 10 minutes, and a total of over $1 million (equivalent to over €920,000) was raised. Wonderful Neoran Valley is described as a narrative-driven roguelite monster-collector.

Features of Wonderful Neoran Valley

Wonderful Neoran Valley is set in the Valley, a colorful world made up of diverse biomes that is home to the Neoran, creatures born from the evolution of animal and plant life. These are, of course, the monsters to collect, but... they are much more than simple monsters: capable of speaking and experiencing complex emotions, to recruit them and unlock their true potential in battle, it will be essential to dialogue with them. The game offers 85 unique Neoran to encounter.

Other features of Wonderful Neoran Valley include its roguelite setup, which allows for different incursions each time, and the peculiar turn-based combat system based on foresight: the game's protagonist, called the Knight, can see into the future and thus know what will happen in the next seven turns. The new trailer, "Welcome to the Valley", shows us the encounter between the Knight and another fundamental character, the dragon Iris.

Their voices might sound familiar: they belong to two video game voice acting stars, Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Death Stranding) and Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33). The collaboration will lead the two characters to discover what lies beneath the colorful surface of the Valley: a dangerous form of corruption stemming from aberrant creatures.

When and Where Wonderful Neoran Valley Will Be Released

The new Italian monster collector is scheduled for release in 2028. You will find Wonderful Neoran Valley on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms: the Steam page has just been opened.
