Wonder Woman, Ana Nogueira Confirms Work on DCU Film

With the new DC cinematic universe in full evolution, the return of Wonder Woman is also taking shape. Screenwriter Ana Nogueira, already involved in other key projects, has confirmed that she is currently engaged in the development of the screenplay dedicated to the Amazonian heroine.

In a recent interview, Nogueira explained that she wants to approach the character starting from a personal reflection, seeking to identify Diana's most authentic aspects before translating them to the screen. The stated goal is to respect the historical and symbolic weight of one of the most important figures in the DC universe.

A Diana Still to Be Defined

Meanwhile, speculation continues regarding the possible debut of the new Wonder Woman. Some observers believe that the character may be introduced in one of the upcoming DCU films before getting a standalone adventure, also in light of some recent posts shared by James Gunn on social media. On the casting front, there are no official announcements yet, but rumors continue to focus on the names of Adria Arjona and Eva De Dominici, both linked to the future cinematic incarnation of the heroine.

For DC Studios, the project represents a strategic priority. After launching the first pieces of the new shared universe, the management team aims to bring the famous "Trinity" composed of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, historical pillars of the DC imagination, back to the center stage.
