Virtua Fighter Crossroads: Announcement Trailer

The legendary Shenmue, before becoming the game we know, was initially conceived as a Virtua Fighter RPG: although it then became a new IP, its genesis suggests that even back then, someone within Sega intended to push the Virtua Fighter franchise beyond the boundaries of a fighting game. Thirty years later, this intention has not faded; in fact, it has become a reality with Virtua Fighter Crossroads.

Details on Virtua Fighter Crossroads

Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Virtua Fighter Crossroads is a single-player action/adventure focused on narrative. This title transports us to Vilasapara, a city dominated by criminal cartels (after all, the Yakuza studio is involved) where firearms are banned. Here, the destinies of four strangers intersect: these are the four protagonists, who will write their story by fighting against a multitude of adversaries.

Virtua Fighter Crossroads will be released in 2027. Sega has not announced the platforms on which the game will be available.
