Utawarerumono: ZAN 2, the Musou Game Coming Soon to Steam

Developer Aquaplus and publishers DMM Games and Shiravune have announced the arrival of Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 on PC in the West. The second installment of the musou game set in the fantasy universe of Utawarerumono was released on PS4 and PS5 in Japan in July 2021, and its trail had gone cold since then.

The title follows the events of the visual novel (with SRPG elements) Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, and offers over 50 story-related missions with more than 20 playable characters, plus an online cooperative mode with additional challenges and maps. The Steam version will also feature a series of "optimizations and improvements," likely concerning the technical aspects.
