Until Dawn 2 Chases Horror and Reveals Release Date

Firesprite Games, a first-party Sony studio, participated in the State of Play with a new trailer for Until Dawn 2. This sequel stars members of a TV crew who hunt for thrilling reports: driven by the urge to film sensational scenes at all costs, the group travels to Akishima Island, a remote tropical paradise where an evil far worse than what they were looking for looms.

When and Where Until Dawn 2 Will Be Released

Until Dawn 2 will be a horror-themed adventure centered around player choices, which will determine the fate of the characters. The new trailer highlights this aspect, showing us some in-game examples. The release date has been revealed: Firesprite Games' work will be available from January 28, 2027, while pre-orders will start on September 10. Until Dawn 2 is an absolute PlayStation 5 exclusive.
