Perhaps the name TOEM: A Photo Adventure doesn't ring a bell: it's an adventure set in a hand-drawn black and white world, where you play as a photographer intent on capturing the scenes around them. TOEM is a relaxing experience, designed to stimulate curiosity and so appreciated by users that on Steam it even boasts a 99% positive rating (and it's currently 90% off, if that's of interest).
Its author, the independent Swedish studio Something We Made, announced the sequel in December 2024, indicating an approximate launch window of 2026. The developer kept their word: Toem 2's release date is indeed set for September 29, 2026.
