The Summoning: trailer conjures creepypasta nightmares
Whispers and invisible presences that seem to constantly watch the protagonists

Creepypastas return to haunt indie horror cinema with The Summoning, a new supernatural anthology that has just unveiled its first official trailer. The film, distributed on VOD in the USA starting June 5 via Brainstorm Media, aims to recapture the atmosphere of old urban legends spread online, featuring forbidden rituals, evocations, and unsettling presences.
The images hint at a dark and paranoid horror, built around the figure of Baby Blue, an entity at the center of one of the most famous paranormal stories passed down among teenagers.
Between evocations, darkness, and paranoia
In the film, a simple babysitting evening takes a terrifying turn when three teenagers decide to summon Baby Blue almost as a game. From that moment, the situation rapidly spirals into a vortex of apparitions, psychological tension, and supernatural violence.
The trailer primarily emphasizes the claustrophobic atmospheres, alternating between dark corridors, mirrors, whispers, and invisible presences that seem to constantly watch the protagonists.
Behind the project are several directors, including Felipe Vargas, Sergio Gonzalez, and Brian Sepanzyk, while the cast includes Valeria San Martín, Daniela Flombaum, and Agustín Olcese. The impression is of a horror strongly tied to the aesthetic of viral internet stories, blending urban folklore, creepypastas, and suggestions of a cursed ritual style like Candyman. We hope that Italy will also be able to experience this work, even if only in digital form.
