The New Zealand studio Unclear Games has announced The Florist, a survival horror that pays homage to the great classics of the genre, especially the very first Resident Evil games with their unmistakable fixed camera angles. This time the threat doesn't take the form of zombies; the danger is... floral: a mysterious infestation has struck Joycliffe, a charming lakeside town.

The plants have killed the inhabitants and transformed them into horrible monsters. The protagonist, Jessica Park, ironically, went to Joycliffe to deliver a floral arrangement, but as you can imagine, she'll have to focus on saving herself and discovering what lies behind the nightmare. The experience offers the usual features of classic survival horror: in addition to the aforementioned fixed cameras, there are puzzles to solve and monsters to fight after finding firearms.

Where and When The Florist Will Be Released

Only inventory management is missing: players will be able to carry an unlimited number of items. The Florist will reach our screens in 2026: this tribute to classic survival horror will be released on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
