The Duskbloods Delayed, Now Expected Next Year

If you were to ask us what the biggest third-party exclusive for Switch 2 is, we would most likely say The Duskbloods. On one hand, because third-party exclusives aren't exactly abundant on Nintendo's console, but on the other hand, because it's still a work signed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware. The studio that created the soulslike genre is now working on an eight-player PvPvE action game, which, however, will require more time before seeing the light of day.

When is The Duskbloods coming out?

The launch window for The Duskbloods was set for this year, but FromSoftware has decided to postpone it to 2027. The game's development is in its final stages; however, during the network test last August, further aspects emerged that needed refinement regarding combat, strategy, and customization. To further improve these aspects, the studio opted for the delay.

While development of "The Duskbloods" is at the final adjustment stage, we have made the decision to move the launch window to 2027. We apologize to players who have been kindly awaiting the release of this title and thank you for your patience and support. https://t.co/U9941Mgkyw
