The Adventures of Elliot Takes Center Stage at Tokyo Game Show

Square Enix seems very comfortable with HD-2D, a distinctive graphic style that harks back to the glory days of old games while giving them a modern look. It's no surprise, then, that this style is no longer limited to turn-based RPGs, but is also being adopted for an action game: the team led by producer Tomoya Asano, who previously collaborated on works such as Octopath Traveler and the Live A Live remake, along with studio Claytechworks, is in charge.

The New Trailer for The Adventures of Elliot

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is showcased with a trailer that introduces us to the game world, the usual medieval-fantasy setting with assorted monsters threatening humanity. The protagonist Elliot is an adventurer who can wield 7 different types of weapons, a variety that reminds us of a certain Secret of Mana. Furthermore, Elliot can utilize the powers of the fairy Faie, his faithful travel companion.

The trailer takes us through the variety of situations, environments, and enemies that will characterize the game. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will be released in 2026: we will be able to embark on Elliot's journey on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Windows, Steam).
