Tekken 8 Shows Roger Jr.'s Gameplay in New Trailer

The Tekken franchise has included animals in its roster since its inception: the bear Kuma first appeared in the very first installment of the series. In the second chapter, the kangaroo Roger made his debut, a very unique boxer who was joined by his son Roger Jr. in Tekken 5. Technically, the fighter is Roger's wife, while the son stays in the pouch watching; however, for some reason, the game indicates the son as the character.

When Does Roger Jr. Come Out?

Roger Jr. (and his mother) will return in Tekken 8, and Bandai Namco has shared a trailer to show us his gameplay. This DLC character is part of the Season 3 Character Pass, along with Kunimitsu, Bob, and the upcoming Yujiro Hanma, whose muscular in-game model we see for the first time in the video. Roger Jr.'s release date is set for November 17, 2026, with early access on November 12.
