Super Mario Galaxy - Official Trailer and Posters for the Animated Sequel

After the planetary triumph of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion at the box office in 2023, Mario and friends are preparing to return to the big screen. The new chapter, titled Super Mario Galaxy - The Movie, marks the return of the collaboration between Nintendo and Illumination, the Studio led by Chris Meledandri, along with Shigeru Miyamoto, the historic creator of the most famous plumber in video games.

The journey moves among the stars

The film will be co-financed by Nintendo and Universal Pictures, which will also handle international distribution. Behind the camera, we will find Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who also directed the first film, while the screenplay is once again penned by Matthew Fogel. Completing the creative team is also returning composer Brian Tyler, author of the soundtrack that helped make the previous cinematic adventure magical.
