Publisher Dotemu and developer Auroch Digital announce the release of Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! The game is available starting today, March 16, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam), accompanied by the launch trailer which we've included below. Ultimate Bug War! is a first-person shooter characterized by a retro style, where you can draw from a vast arsenal of 30 weapons to spill the green blood of the Arachnids.
Casper Van Dien is Johnny Rico Again
The game leverages the nostalgia factor not only in its appearance, because it directly connects to the 1997 cult film by Paul Verhoeven. Suffice it to say that actor Casper Van Dien will appear in the cutscenes, returning to don the role of Johnny Rico, who has become a general for the occasion.
