Starfield on PlayStation 5: The Rumor of Date, Editions, and Prices
Bethesda's space epic journeys to Sony's console

For over two years, Xbox Series X|S has held a major console exclusive in Starfield. Bethesda Softworks, having joined the larger Xbox Game Studios family, reserved its sci-fi work for the company's console, but ever since its launch, there has been much talk of a possible arrival on the competitor PlayStation 5. An arrival that, with time, has become increasingly probable: last month, a hypothetical date emerged.
When does Starfield come out on PS5? The rumor
The date indicated on that occasion for Starfield's release on PlayStation 5 is April 7, 2026. Today, a significant confirmation arrived: from the French portal Dealabs, which verified the information with its sources and has proven more than reliable in the past regarding anticipations. The French site not only corroborated the April 7 date but also provided additional details.

Starfield's editions and prices on PS5
Apparently, Starfield on PlayStation 5 will receive a physical edition (not a given for an Xbox game: consider, for example, Forza Horizon 5). The game will be offered in two editions: Standard and Premium. The contents of the Premium edition are not yet known, but it is not expected to include early access days. The indicated prices are €49.99 for the Standard and €69.99 for the Premium.
Pre-orders are expected to open on March 17 or 18, which could therefore be the moment of the announcement: we remind you that Starfield has not yet been officially confirmed for PlayStation 5. The information reported so far, however reliable, remains a rumor, so treat it as such.
