Splatoon Raiders: The First Spinoff in the Series on Switch 2

The Splatoon franchise is set to expand: not with Splatoon 4, which we are sure will arrive in the future, but with the first spinoff in the series. Nintendo has officially announced Splatoon Raiders, the first images of which you can see in the video above. As the Machinist, players will have to explore the mysterious Spiralite islands, accompanied by the Mackerel trio. Splatoon Raiders will be an absolute exclusive for Switch 2 and will be released at a later date.

The Splatoon 3 Update on June 12

Further information on Splatoon Raiders will be communicated later. In the meantime, however, Splatoon 3 is about to receive a free update that will be released in two days, on June 12, on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. This update will introduce some new content such as the weapons from the Splatlands Collection and will improve the game's visual performance on Switch 2. Furthermore, crossplay between Switch 1 and Switch 2 is confirmed.
