Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive Arrives on Consoles Today
Netmarble's action/RPG launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
The Korean company Netmarble announces the console release of Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive. The title is available starting today, November 4, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, after being launched about a year ago on PC. This game is based on the popular webtoon Solo Leveling, created by artist Chugong: the work tells the story of a monster hunter who levels up with a system similar to that of video games.
Arise Overdrive is an hack'n slash action/RPG, born as a spinoff of Solo Leveling: Arise, a gacha for mobile devices. In our opinion, it is an ambitious title, which boasts an artistic direction respectful of the original material; however, it presents several limitations, primarily due to repetitiveness and a structure tied to mobile logic. We delve deeper into the discussion in our Arise Overdrive review.
