Conan Exiles Enhanced Arrives on Consoles in Early 2027
No additional costs for those who already own the game
For its eighth birthday, celebrated in May 2026, the MMO Conan Exiles received a big gift: the Conan Exiles Enhanced update, a modernized version in Unreal Engine 5, which was made available to all PC users at no additional cost. We delve deeper into the topic in this article and add that developer Funcom certainly hasn't forgotten about console fans.
Conan Exiles Enhanced on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
The Norwegian software house has indeed announced that Conan Exiles Enhanced will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In this case too, it is a free update, but not only that, because the upgrade from previous generation consoles will also be free. In other words, those who own Conan Exiles on PS4 will be able to upgrade to the Enhanced version on PS5, and those who own it on Xbox One will be able to do the same on Series X|S, at no additional cost.
The launch window for Conan Exiles Enhanced on consoles is set for early 2027: the precise date will be announced later. The various platforms will be able to take advantage of full cross-play, which, however, may not be available at launch, but shortly thereafter. All items purchased in Conan Exiles will also be available in the Enhanced version. Players will be able to continue to access the old edition of the game, called Conan Exiles Legacy, although it will no longer receive new content.
