Sega Accidentally Reveals Yakuza Kiwami 3: Announcement Coming Soon?
Apparently, the remake of the third installment in the series is on its way

Yakuza 3 debuted on PlayStation 3 in Japan way back in 2009 and was released in Western markets the following year. However, the edition intended for the domestic audience disappointed many fans because, compared to the Japanese version, it lacked many of the secondary contents that made the series so successful. A new, complete version of the game could therefore right “the wrong” that was done to Western fans: we will probably hear about it very soon.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 was mentioned on the official website
On September 23, the RGG Summit 2025 will take place, a streaming event where Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will share news about the series. One of these announcements seems to have been revealed by mistake: as reported by Gematsu, among the news categories on the series' official website, Yakuza Kiwami 3 appeared. It was removed shortly after, but the cat was already out of the bag. “Yakuza Kiwami” is the nomenclature adopted for the remakes of the first two chapters of the series, so this is the remake of the third.
