Sci-fi horror: nightmare wedding with cannibal aliens
A remote resort, an alien presence that turns a wedding into a fight for survival

An isolated ceremony in the mountains, a couple ready to say "I do," and a group of decidedly uninvited guests. This is the premise of Soon You Will Be Gone And Possibly Eaten, a project that blends science fiction and horror with a dark irony declared right in its title.
At the center of the story are two future spouses played by Dave Franco and Sophie Wilde, trapped in a remote resort as an alien presence transforms the wedding into a fight for survival. The opening plays on strong contrasts: emotional intimacy and unknown threat, romance and primal instinct.
Pushing beyond genre boundaries

Egor Abramenko, known for the horror film Sputnik, is in the director's chair, while the screenplay is penned by Luke Piotrowski and Ben Collins, writers of The Night House and the Hellraiser reboot. The story itself originates from a short story by Nick Antosca.
The project is backed by producers associated with the success of M3GAN, which suggests this won't be a mere exercise in style, but an operation designed to succeed commercially as well.
With an idea as simple as it is brutal and a team accustomed to avoiding predictable solutions, this film could carve out a space among the most aggressive surprises in the upcoming sci-fi landscape.
