Ryan Gosling Exits Daniels' Film, Changes Everything

According to emerging information, this is not due to creative differences but an unmanageable schedule. The actor is currently busy with the promotion of Project Hail Mary and work on Star Wars: Starfighter, directed by Shawn Levy.

Production in full swing, but without a lead

Produced by Universal Pictures, the film currently remains shrouded in mystery: plot and details have not been revealed, but filming is scheduled to begin in the coming months in Los Angeles. Initially set for summer 2027, the release has been postponed to November 19 of the same year.

For the Daniels, this is their first project after the success of Everything Everywhere All at Once, which cemented their status in Hollywood. For this reason, the loss of the lead actor should not slow down the project too much: it is likely that another high-profile name will be involved soon.
