RuriDragon Arrives in Italy Thanks to Star Comics

RuriDragon is the revelation manga from the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, which ranked second in the Next Manga Awards 2024 in the Web Manga category. This fun and delicate story arrives in Italy today thanks to Star Comics.

RuriDragon tells the story of Ruri, a seemingly ordinary teenager who one morning wakes up with a nice pair of horns sprouting from her head. Her mother reveals that she is actually the daughter of a dragon and that her powers are evidently finally awakening. Does an adventurous life of epic battles and mighty sorcerers await her? None of that: she must still continue to live her teenage life, with school, studying, tests, friends - who are increasingly curious about her transformation - all while learning to deal with her new powers that are awakening one after another. A fun metaphor for the most delicate period in a woman's life - adolescence, in fact - with many physical and mental transformations as her adult personality begins to take shape.

The first volume of RuriDragon is available from today, September 30th, in comic shops, bookstores, and on the Star Comics online store for €6.50; for those who choose to purchase it from one of the participating retailers, there will also be an exclusive pin badge as a gift.
