Rock Band 4, song rights expire, leaving stores October 5
After 10 years, the curtain falls on the last chapter of the series

Harmonix has announced that its Rock Band 4 will be removed from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store on October 5. After 10 years since its debut on PS4 and One, the song rights for the American studio's rhythm game have unfortunately expired, and apparently will not be renewed. Owners of the game plus related DLC will still have access to the entire setlist and can re-download it on compatible platforms whenever they wish, but it will no longer be possible to make new purchases starting next week.
Thus ends the journey of the last published chapter of Rock Band (excluding the VR interlude). If interested, you still have a few days to add it to your collection. It's now or never.
