Last night, Capcom held a brief broadcast dedicated to Resident Evil Requiem, presenting new details about the title, merchandise, and collaborations that will accompany the launch of the ninth installment of the popular survival horror series. Director Koshi Nakanishi introduced the new generation of infected, who seem to have a vague memory of their past lives and therefore exhibit peculiar behaviors, and reiterated the two gameplay styles: horror, almost stealth, with Grace, and decidedly more action-oriented with Leon. All of this was accompanied by new gameplay sequences and unprecedented details, such as collecting the blood of the infected and combining it with other materials to create mixtures capable of taking them down in one hit, and the return of ink ribbons for saving data.

The Showcase then shifted to the title's marketing, presenting products in line with the sector, such as the Deluxe Edition, 1/6 scale miniatures of the protagonists, and the themed Pad Pro for Switch 2, as well as others that were a bit less expected, from Leon's Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, a custom model meticulously recreated in-game, to a limited edition line of watches from the Hamilton brand. A concert will also be held to celebrate the saga's 30th anniversary.
