Project Motor Racing launched offering a solid simulation, aimed at the most demanding users, but it was held back by a few too many flaws: it was no coincidence that in our review we noted the need for some targeted patches to iron out the imperfections. Developer Straight4 Studios didn't stand idly by, releasing seven major updates after launch, guided by user feedback.

Details of the 2.0 Update

Today sees the release of update 2.0, described as the biggest overhaul Project Motor Racing has undergone so far. Every main aspect has been reviewed and corrected, starting with the user interface, which has been redesigned from scratch to make navigation smoother and more intuitive. The technical sector has also been refined to increase image quality and performance.

The online experience also benefits from the new update: game sessions are more stable, with the addition of an anti-cheat system and improved License Points. The single player has also been revised, with changes to the Career mode. Straight4 Studios has also intervened on the driving model, modifying physics and handling for several cars. You can find the long list of improvements on Steam.
