Possessor(s) Has Arrived: Launch Trailer

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Heart Machine announce the release of Possessor(s): the game is available starting today, November 11, on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The release was accompanied by the launch trailer you see above. The first half of the video sets the premise from which the story unfolds: protagonist Luca, nearing his end, strikes a pact with the demon Rhem to survive.

Together, Luca and Rhem must find their way through a megalopolis destroyed by a catastrophe, investigating the causes behind the disaster. The second half of the trailer, however, shows us some gameplay snippets: Possessor(s) is a side-scrolling action-platformer with a deep and frenetic combat system, inspired by fighting games like Super Smash Bros.
