Peerless Assassin 140 SE – New Thermalright Cooler

Thermalright expands its line of air coolers with the new Peerless Assassin 140 SE, a dual-tower model designed for high-performance CPUs compatible with Intel (LGA115X/1200/1700/1851) and AMD (AM4/AM5) platforms. A direct evolution of the popular Peerless Assassin 120 SE, this version targets gaming systems and professional workstations.

The cooler uses 6x 6mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes and a C1100 pure copper base, aiming for superior thermal conduction and stability even under prolonged loads. The asymmetrical dual-tower design improves compatibility with tall RAM modules, while the hybrid fan configuration, 120mm TL-C12C-X28 V2 and 140mm TL-D14CB, is designed for optimal airflow and balanced static pressure.

Quietness and efficiency even for high-end CPUs

Thanks to S-FDB bearings and PWM control, the Peerless Assassin 140 SE promises extremely quiet operation, while keeping temperatures under control even with high-end CPUs.

Although not yet available on the market, Thermalright's new cooler is shaping up to be a competitive product in the premium air cooling segment, offering efficiency, compactness, and an excellent performance-to-noise ratio. More details will be published soon on the official Thermalright website.
