Parasite Mutant: Indie Parasite Eve Demo Now on Steam

IceSitruuna has released the first demo for its Parasite Mutant. The content is available for download on Steam and will allow players to experience the prologue of this horror RPG, clearly inspired by Squaresoft's Parasite Eve, from its presentation to its gameplay formula.

In the game, we will play as Agent Nova as she investigates a mysterious abandoned island, populated by horrifying creatures. The graphics engine uses a cel-shaded style, while the combat system, called Active Time Chains, is a variation of the classic ATB found in 90s JRPGs.

The demo will introduce the basics of gameplay and the initial story beats, and in the estimated 45 minutes to complete it, it will present approximately 5% of the explorable area. Parasite Mutant is expected to be released in 2026 on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.
