Castlevania: Belmont's Curse - Demo Now Available
We get an early look at the series' new direction, two weeks before launch
Konami Digital Entertainment, in collaboration with developers Evil Empire and Motion Twin, announces the release of the demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, available starting today, October 1st, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, Xbox PC). The demo allows players to experience the opening moments of the game, and if purchased, progress made can be transferred to the full version.
Belmont's Curse is set in 1499, 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. The Dark Lord's castle has appeared near Paris, and it will be up to Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, to repel the monsters that have invaded the city streets. As for gameplay, this title marks the series' return to the Metroidvania formula; during her adventure, Rose will utilize various abilities and weapons, including the iconic Vampire Killer whip.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse will be available in two weeks, on October 15th, on the platforms listed above. The saga recently celebrated its fortieth anniversary, and to mark the occasion, Konami decided to give away the very first episode on mobile devices.
