Nocturnal 2, metroidvania demo coming to Steam
It was called YTASH: A Nocturnal Poem for a while
Sunnyside Games has announced that starting next January 27, players on Steam will be able to download the demo for its latest project, Nocturnal 2. This is the sequel to Nocturnal, released in June 2023, and for a while it was called YTASH: A Nocturnal Poem, but the latest indications show it has returned to its old name.
It's a 2D metroidvania that particularly cherishes the dark settings of the city of Ytash and the flames that engulf the protagonist and spread from their attacks. Its debut is scheduled during 2026 on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Here's the demo trailer.
