Neon Inferno Unleashed in Launch Trailer

Publisher Retroware and developer Zenovia Interactive announce the release of Neon Inferno: this game is available starting today, November 20, on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A tribute to '90s gaming, Neon Inferno harks back to a genre that enjoyed considerable popularity at the time: run & gun, strictly side-scrolling and in 2D pixel art.

While the game's atmosphere takes us back 30 years in time, the setting pushes us 30 years forward, to New York in 2055, an urban jungle where crime has taken over and various gangs vie for control of the streets. As the name suggests, this violent and chaotic environment is depicted with a riot of neon lights, which the authors attribute to a cyberpunk aesthetic.
