Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - Titan Unveiled in Season 2 Teaser

Apple TV has unveiled the teaser trailer for the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, the acclaimed series set in the Monsterverse. The new season, consisting of 10 episodes, will debut on February 27, 2026 with the first episode, followed by a weekly release every Friday until May 1st.

Alongside the return of Kong and the confirmed presence of Godzilla, the second season will introduce a new and unsettling creature: Titan X. Described as a living cataclysm, the colossal bioluminescent being emerges from the ocean depths, bringing with it an ancient mystery and a global threat. Its appearance marks a turning point for Monarch and the entire balance of the world.

The Monsterverse continues to expand

The cast sees the return of Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm, joined by guest stars such as Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Cliff Curtis, and Dominique Tipper. The story will pick up with Monarch's fate hanging by a thread, amidst buried secrets, family ties put to the test, and a new adventure that will take the protagonists to Skull Island and a mysterious village dominated by a mythical Titan.

Produced by Legendary Television, the series features Chris Black as showrunner for the second season. The first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is currently available for streaming on Apple TV, a platform that will continue to expand the Monsterverse with new series and spin-offs dedicated to the most iconic Titans.
