Last week, PlayStation and Arc System Works released Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a highly anticipated 4v4 team-based fighting game whose roster features the most famous heroes and villains from the House of Ideas. Unfortunately, the launch did not go as planned, at least for the PC version: many users complained about a port that was not up to par.

Marvel Tokon's PC Woes

Just take a look at Steam, where Marvel Tokon currently has only 39% positive reviews (out of 2,938 total). Among the problems reported by users are unacceptable performance even with powerful hardware, also undermined by the anti-cheat software, then the poorly functioning rollback netcode, and the lack of compatibility with Linux systems (meaning it doesn't run on Steam Deck).

Adding to all these issues is the requirement to use a PlayStation Network account, a requirement that PC players have never taken kindly to (do you remember the Helldivers 2 situation?). The Marvel Tokon team has announced that they are aware of the flaws affecting the computer version and are investigating the matter. We hope the problems will be resolved quickly.
