Marathon Prepares for Season 2 with a Cinematic Trailer
An impactful introduction to the shooter's next phase
Bungie is going through a very delicate period, not only because Marathon has yet to definitively establish itself in the shooter landscape, but also and above all due to the sunsetting of Destiny 2. While the American company can certainly be blamed for some things, one cannot deny the great effort put into crafting their trailers: recently for Marathon, we've seen a series of captivating cinematic trailers dedicated to the various Shell types.
Nightfall: Marathon's Season 2
To introduce Season 2 Nightfall, Bungie has prepared another impactful video, with a style leaning towards horror that successfully conveys the dangers of the planet Tau Ceti IV. The second season of the extraction shooter will begin next week, on June 2nd, and will bring several new features: we discussed them in this article, where we also mention the changes Marathon will receive in the short term.
