Marathon Offers Free Week-Long Trial
Even those who haven't bought the game can experience the start of Season 2
Marathon, the sci-fi extraction shooter developed by Bungie, is preparing to enter its second season, Nightfall, which will begin next Tuesday, June 2. The season was unveiled with a captivating cinematic trailer: we discussed its new features (and other upcoming game updates) in this article. For the occasion, Bungie will allow everyone to try out their game.
When is Marathon's free week?
From June 2 to June 9, on all platforms where the title is available (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC), Marathon's Open Play Week will take place, meaning that everyone can play, even those who haven't purchased it. This isn't the first time this has happened: in late February, a few days before launch, there was an open Server Slam. The purpose of these initiatives is clear: to allow everyone to try the experience, in an attempt to attract new users.
