Infinity Nikki Updates to Patch 2.0: What's New
The "cozy" gacha celebrates its first anniversary

On December 5, 2024, Infinity Nikki was released, a free-to-play game that offers players a vast open world to revel in a joyful and carefree manner: an experience designed to be particularly relaxing. Today, November 26, patch 2.0 is released, the largest update to date, celebrating Nikki's first birthday with a series of new features.
New Areas in Patch 2.0
As you can imagine, the new patch brings with it a host of limited-time events, rewards, and outfits, but the first major new feature is that Nikki's world is expanding: there's a new region called Itzaland, with two areas to explore. The first of these areas is Elderwood Forest, a lush forest whose inhabitants live in treehouses. The second area is a mountainous zone, Spira. In the coming months, Itzaland will be expanded with additional areas.
Nikki's New Abilities
The other big news in patch 2.0 is that… Nikki has succumbed to the allure of violence, if you'll allow us the joke. The protagonist now wields her first weapon, a bow, and a new combat system is thus introduced into the game. But that's not all: the Sticky Claw ability allows Nikki to move between handholds scattered across the map like a modern-day Spider-Man, while the Gigantification ability, as the name suggests, greatly enlarges the character, with all the exploration implications that entails.
