Hogwarts Legacy Will Have a Sequel: Warner Bros. Removes All Doubt

A video game with extraordinary success like Hogwarts Legacy was bound to mark the beginning of a series: the RPG set in the Harry Potter universe has sold over 40 million copies, exceeding Warner Bros.'s expectations. For its part, the American company perhaps did not make the most of the momentum generated by the game, but plans to make up for it with a new installment.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 confirmed by a document

In a message to shareholders, Warner Bros. redefines its strategy for the gaming sector: the company's offerings will focus on four billion-dollar franchises, with the aim of investing in fewer but more impactful titles. From Warner Bros.'s words, it can be inferred that these franchises concern DC Comics superheroes, Game of Thrones, a third unspecified IP, and of course Harry Potter: "the second installment of Hogwarts Legacy" is explicitly mentioned.

So we can consider it officially confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will have a sequel. However, the game in question has not yet been announced, so unfortunately we cannot provide any information about it, nor is it even certain that it will be called "Hogwarts Legacy 2".
